There are a few Sales Reports and Sales & Commission Reports that you can choose to “Sort by Parent Company.” We will give you a screen shot of the sales & commissions that were imported, and sample of what the report will look like if you choose certain settings.
Sales Reports available by Parent Company
Here is the data we imported and posted:
Sales Report – Customer Summary – NOT summarized by Parent Company
I did narrow it down to one manufacturer to make it easier to see. These are the settings we used.
This is what the output will look like. Click an amount in the “Current Year (Actual)” to see details.
This is what you see when you click to “View Details.”
Sales Report – Customer Summary – SUMMARIZED by Parent Company
We narrowed it down to one manufacturer again and checked the box to “Summarize by Parent Company.”
Click on any of the numbers in the current year column to “View Customer Details.”
This is what you will see for “View Customer Details.”
Sales Report – Sales Analytical Summary – Show “All” Parent Companies
Used one manufacturer, and selected “All” for “Parent Company” field.

One Manufacturer and One Parent Company selected. I selected a parent company that had sales so we could see what it looks like.
Manufacturer/Principal Summary – “Summarized by Parent Company”
Shown for one manufacturer. This report doesn’t show any detail at all.
