Using the Teams Repfabric Bot
Many firms have a team for each factory, and a channel within the team that contains ongoing activity for that particular product line or manufacturer. Our MS Teams Repfabric Bot allows you to publish Activity Journals entered in Repfabric to the channel of each product line, so that other MS Team members see the activity and can action it accordingly. “Would like us to order samples…” from the activity journal can trigger an inside person to do just that right from the notification within the teams channel. Installation of the Repfabric MS Teams Bot
As we are in preview mode, the bot is not yet available from the Microsoft Teams Store. Therefore you will complete the following steps.
- Download the Repfabric MS Teams Bot installation package here. (will go into your browser download folder)
- Install the Repfabric MS Teams Bot onto your Teams server as an application.
- Select a channel within a particular product line’s MS Team group channel and add the Repfabric Bot to that channel.
- Authorize the Bot on that channel to connect MS Teams to Repfabric.
