**Use with caution and remember you change may show up in more places than you expect. This is a restricted function so you may have to consult with the person on your team who is the Repfabric Administration.
Some call the lines you represent a “Manufacturer” and others use “Principal.” That is just one example of a “Custom Label.” You can relabel fields with labels your team is familiar with.
In this situation a company only sells to “Customers” and wants to relabel “Distributor” to “DO NOT USE” so that when new companies are created, they will not choose that option by mistake. You can always put it back if you don’t like the results.
- In the main menu click “Settings.”
- Click “Application Settings.”
- Click “Customer Labels” tab.
In column one is the original name of the Repfabric field by default. Column two sometimes contains a brief description if there are some similar labels that can be easily confused. Column three is how it currently appears in your instance of Repfabric. I find it easiest to search in the top of column three.

4. Type the term you are looking to replace in the top of column three.

5. Click the “Edit” button.
6. Type the new name in the desired field.
7. Click “Save.”

8. Click “OK.”
9. Click “Activate Custom Label” button in top left.
You can now see your changes in all the places that term is used. Below is one place that our change can be seen.
