If you use “Parent Companies” you will notice that the contacts for the parent company will be displayed when looking at the contacts on the “Child” company as well. There is now a way to turn this off.

You can turn it off at the user level:

Go to “Settings” > “Users” > click on the user’s name > click “User Custom Settings” tab > check the box “Companies: Hide Parent Company Contacts.” This turns them all off for this user.

You can also control this setting for yourself inside the “Contacts” tab in a company that has a child/parent relationship. You can also use this check box to show/not show them for individual companies.
