A majority of our clients have trouble remembering their passwords. Some are written in a notebook. Some keep them on a spreadsheet. Others sit there and type the three variations they use on everything, anywhere, anytime huffing and puffing until they get it right (if they do).

There are other ways that can provide a greater level of security and make your life easier.

First, you could create a naming convention for all of your passwords so you don’t have to memorize the passwords, you just have to remember the algorithm or method. As an example, it could have the first two letters (all caps), the web domain spelled backwards, then four numbers and a symbol you’ll always remember. An example could be THcrib2020$. For repfabric that could be TH for The Hulk – really it might be your initials. The ‘crib” comes from taking the last four letters of repfabric spelled backwards. The number could be your birth year, a favorite date, a Bible verse you love or any number you can remember followed by a special character like ! @ # or $. Here a couple more examples to help you understand: THelgo2020$ for google; THxilf2020$ for Netflix; and THazzi2020$ for your favorite pizza place.

Another method to help you manage passwords could be a tool that memorizes your passwords across all your devices. Some are free and some are paid for. The trick here, of course, is that you remember the main password to log you in!

Here is the one our team members use and links for you to get more information. Our intent is to lessen the hassle and get you logged in faster and easier to our software and all the other places you log in as well.
