Repfabric can synchronize opportunities in other ERP and CRM systems including Salesforce, SugarCRM, Zoho, Intuitive and many more.

Currently there are three modes of how Opportunities are sync’d to those systems. Automatic (“headless”) mode, where bi-directional two-way sync happens automatically, admin-managed, where a Repfabric administrator controls which opportunities and information within existing opportunities synchronize are not discussed here.

What is manual mode? This tutorial is shows how a Repfabric user can push and pull opportunities into and out of a manufacturer’s system manually “by pushing the button”. The Repfabric user can choose which opportunities should push into or pull down from the manufacturer system.

Prerequisites:

  1. Your user must be configured for the authorization to the target system (manufacturer’s or ERP system)
  2. CRMSync must be configured and activated by your Repfabric administrator
  3. Repfabric must have established a database to database connection with your manufacturer (if you are interested in doing this, please contact sales@repfabric.com)
  4. Although not necessary, preliminary mapping between your Repfabric company list and the target system company list should be completed to speed up opportunity creation in both directions so initial company aliasing does not need completion.

Pushing Opportunities into another system from the Repfabric Opportunity Detail View (Upflow)

When you want to take newly created opportunities in Repfabric and push them into your manufacturer’s Salesforce, SugarCRM or ERP system, navigate to the Opportunity Detail tab (an open opportunity). We call this process Upflow – From Repfabric to the target system.

Basic steps include:

  1. Create the opportunity in Repfabric (via email Addin, mobile or web)
  2. From the web portal, choose any line item part numbers of the opportunity (supplied to Repfabric instantly from the manufacturer’s system)
  3. Click on the CRMSync tab within the opportunity.
  4. Search for whether this opportunity already exists in the target system
  5. In not, map the companies in the Repfabric opportunity to the companies in the target system (if not already filled in automaticallu)
  6. Push the “Sync” button on the CRMSync tab

Pulling Opportunities into Repfabric from the Repfabric Unlinked Opportunities List of the Target system (Downflow)

When you have many opportunities in the target system that need to be entered and updated in Repfabric, use the Unlinked “Target System Opportunities” view to alias and create new Repfabric companies and pull the opportunity data into Repfabric.

Basic steps include:

  1. From the Repfabric Opportunity list, choose the “Sync Status” button
  2. Change the selection from “Sync Conflicts” to “Unlinked Target System Opportunities”. This is list of the target system opportunities(in Salesforce for example) that have not been connected to Repfabric opportunities.
  3. Alias red company names to the same company in Repfabric to establish a company match between the target system company (Salesforce) and the Repfabric company name.
  4. Inspect existing opportunities for that Repfabric company and Manufacturer combination to link the same opportunity already existing in both systems (if applicable)
  5. If the opportunity cannot be linked to an existing Repfabric opportunity, create a new opportunity using the plus sign button.
