Repfabric has a very powerful 2 way sync engine for contacts and calendar events. With that power comes great responsibility, however. Prior to syncronization of contacts, there are steps you should take to clean up your email contacts to best match the contacts and companies currently in your Repfabric system.

The four key steps are:

  1. Put fields where they belong. Make sure phone numbers are in phone number fields (not Job Title) and addresses are in address fields.
  2. Make sure the company name is filled in. Repfabric will not sync contacts in your email that do not have a Company name.
  3. Make locations of the same company unique. “Rexel – Tampa” vs “Rexel – Orlando”
  4. Mark contacts Private (Outlook) or add them to “Personal” category (Gmail).
